AWK BOYS! was formed in late 2020 and consisted of 16 members. In early 2021, we began filming short skits and posting them on TikTok, gaining some traction before our accounts were ultimately taken down. That summer, we shifted our focus to YouTube, where we kicked off the MTV parody series.

MTV PART ONE

Using an old Canon Rebel T7 and Final Cut Pro, this video was shot and edited all in one night. With inspiration from the collective AG Club, this video would launch our MTV series, which we continued throughout the following year.

MTV PART TWO

Just like the first MTV video, this one was shot and edited in a single night. Filmed only a week after the first, it helped set the theme and tone that would carry through the rest of the series.

MTV PART THREE

Part three was a lot of fun to film because it was inspired by the film series "Fast & Furious." This video had to be shot on different days due to it storming the first night of filming. Along with Final Cut Pro, I used Adobe AfterEffects for some of the editing seen throughout the video. I also experimented with claymation and other ideas. This video would conclude our MTV series in 2022.

AWK BOYS! CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

One of my favorite videos to make, our Christmas special was filmed throughout December 2021 and edited together on Christmas Eve. After a long, stressful night racing to finish in time, I spent about six hours editing and designing everything from scratch.

AWK BOYS! HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

Filmed throughout October 2021, this video was edited in a single night and wrapped just in time for Halloween. Using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Fireworks, I brought to life the effects and visuals I had imagined.

Shot in 2022, this video was unplanned as I just brought the camera with us to the beach and shot whatever came to our minds.
